Altamont Speedway Free Festival

The Rolling Stones perform at the Altamont Speedway Free Festival with opening acts Santana, Jefferson Airplane, The Flying Burrito Brothers, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. The infamous concert is policed by members of the Hells Angels, and four people die, including the murder of Meredith Hunter and three accidental deaths.
